Kijuro Kawakita founded KAWAKITA & ASSOCIATES, the predecessor of i-MIRAI, in 1994, and has  devoted for 30 years to obtain intellectual property rights for clients. He specializes not only in chemical and material fields, but also in a wide range of technical fields such as machinery, optics and device technology. He always provides various views of ideas to help inventors to obtain broad and strong patents for their inventions. As an expert in intellectual property, he has been involved in intellectual property education at many high schools, technical colleges, and universities for more than 30 years.

Eng. MSc in Physical Chemistry from Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Prototype engine development engineer with Honda Motor Co. Ltd. R&D.

Domestic and international patent practice with several domestic patent firms.  

International patent practice with Taiyo, Nakajima & Kato.

Overseas experience with Oliff & Berridge, in Washington D.C., USA.

Established KAWAKITA and ASSOCIATES in 1994

Established IP5 Corporation

Established Patent Attorney Corporation i-MIRAI in 2025
